Hi, I need to keep my wireless connection enabled while my CVS is connected to my ethernet. So I have 2 network interfaces on my computer. The CVS communicates fine in Vision Assistant and MAX while the wireless is off, but doesn't communicate if the wireless is enabled. Is there a way of adjusting my IP settings to keep the two interfaces running simultaneously?

Hi, I've connected a CVS-1454 to my ethernet port and can acquire images in Vision Assistant 8.5 perfectly fine, but as soon as I connect to our wirless network as well, Vision Assistant asks for a network password when I try to connect to the remote device at the given IP address. I've tried my wireless key password used to connect to the wireless network, but this doesnt work. What other password could this be? Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to acquire images from a PULNIX TM 4200CL camera with a PCI-1428 board. I can successfully acquire images. But I find I am unable to set some camera attributes in LabView, especially like "shutter time" or "exposure time" etc. In detail, I can find "Camera Attributes::Exposure Mode" settings in "Measurement & Automation Explorer", however, I fail to find anything refer to this (Camera Attributes) in LabView. I tried IMAQ Property Node, but none of the subselections leads to changing camera attributes like exposure time. How can I deal with this problem, setting camera attributes in LabView? The specifications of my hardware, software and drivers are as follows:Frame Grabber Board: National Instruments ...

Can anyone tell me why I get this error with the following code? It is a snippet from a larger app that uses copy image acquisition buffer to display multiple images in a while loop. I extracted the offending code and I still get the error so it is isolated to the copy image acquisition buffer vi which kicks out a "cannot resize image in an acquisition buffer" error. A similar application I have written works fine, so I know the methodology is sound, but the IMAQ version is older in the other app (3.1) and I used IMAQ copy instead which is now deprecated in 3.8.

I'm evaluating a laser sensor which uses IEEE1394 and a DCAM compliant address space. The vendor supplied software works fine with the CMU-1394 driver but I'm trying to get the device working with IMAQdx.IMAQdx is returning 0xBFFF800B when I select it in MAX. The output of CameraValidator.exe /attributes isDebugging 'cam0' attributes ...

Unhandled exception! I've worked with a similar sensor from the same vendor and IMAQdx worked fine. Any ideas of how I can get this sensor working with IMAQdx or any ideas of how I can provide meaningful...

We have bought camera to try for Vision Applications: BlueCougar-S made by matrix-vision.de.In description it says that it is compliant with GigE vision and Genicam. When we have tried to run it in MAX we have found that the picture is looking very strange it has lines across image all over the picture. It was working fine in its own software but when it started in MAX the image is filled with some strange lines and after exit from MAX in its own software it stays the same(with lines). Only rebooting camera helps. We are using standart Gigabit Ethernet network card. Can somebody explain what is the reason of this behaviour?I could later post some screenshots.

Hi,
I have labview 8.5 installed in my desktop with a ni PCI 1408 frame grabber. The frame grabber is connected to a
Astrovid StellaCam video camera.
After properly installed the driver for the frame grabber, I can see IMAQ PCI-1408 frame grabber in Measurement
and Automation Explore. However, when I tried to continuously acquire video signals from there, I got weird
results. Sometimes I saw stripes, sometimes I can see one image but it did not update at all. Sometimes I was
told "acquisition time out" and I need to reduce the window size - I tried to reduce it from 640*480 to 80*60, but
it won't help.
Then I decided to use NI Vision Acquisition Express program for better luck. However, the software can not
find any "Acquisition sources for Local host" although...
