We will know how big the game is tomorrow. The Vols have Auburn at home and
Memphis plays at Tulane. If both take care of business, then GAME ON! I
wonder how long it has been since the Men have been ranked higher in the
polls than the Lady Vols?

Most certainly the Ray Mears Vols with Ernie & Bernie, which would be I
believe 75, 76, 77.
The Lady Vols made their first trip the the old AIWA in about '77 or so.
The other possibilities would be the Jerry Green Thug era or the Don
Devoe/Dale Ellis or Howard Wood pre-shotclock era.

Yes, I think I read that Vandy has knocked off the last three #1s that
came to Nashville.
A sweet memory of my Uncle Hugh was that he took me to a Vandy bb game
when I was 20, or so.
That was a big time arena and you SEC guys can beat the tar out of SWC
(departed) guys. I truly was impressed by the experience of watching
Vandy play, in Black.
