. . . as in fake

http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3542649

I have seen NBC critized by other media for not covering the censorship of
the protesters and other political aspects of the games. Who should they
have used? Tim Dagget, Chris Colinsworth, or Bela Korolyi?

More thoughts;

Who doesn't love womens beach volley ball?

Race walking is just weird.

If the only way you can determine the winner is to "judge it", it's really
just an exhibition.

You must be able to put it in a goal, a net, go higher, cross a line, touch
a wall first, or score in some recognizable fashion to truly have a
competition.

In Equestrian, are the athletes the horses or do we somehow recognize the
rider as an athlete?

There are no true sports that begin with the word "synchronized".

I saw no one representing "black society" as Moe calls it, in any of the
shooting competition.

So, does Golf qualify? Competitive Yoga? (it's been done in India for
centuries). Olympic Ballroom Dancing?

If you've ridden much, you'd know it's a workout. Though some consider it
foreplay :)
A good horse and rider move as one. I've had the priviledge of being
allowed to ride a well-trained barrel racer. Don't even use the reins, just
slight nudges with the knees.
