Somebody at work had a radio on during lunch, today. Among other
bits of news was that Ford now has a car that gets 65mpg, but won't be
selling it in the US. The reason? According to Ford, US car buyers
don't like diesel.

The front tank in my truck is about 2/3 full, the larger rear tank is a
little
less than half full. I haven't heard anything about diesel prices going up
(seems like diesel is cheaper than gas, again), and I doubt I'll have much
trouble finding diesel. If the stations do run out of diesel, I've got
enough
in the truck to last almost two weeks of normal commuting.

Yep, no reason anyone in the US should like economical diesel cars.
