Was driving down West End yesterday--*searching* for gas--from 440 to
Centennial Park, the only station *with* gas (out of three) was
$4.69/gallon! My tank was low enough that I felt compelled to get some.
Four out of six of their pumps were shuttered....
Of course I didn't fill the 15 gallon tank on the van. $20 got me less
than a 1/3 full.
I remember the gas lines in '73...sort of like that.
