And I believe you to be wrong, David. Personal arms, like
handguns, rifles and shotguns, perhaps even knives, swords,
and dirks (but not according to Tennessee law) are protected
constitutionally. Grenades and satchel charges are
"unusual" weapons, a class that Scalia said could be banned.
As I pointed out to jak, the ruling was narrow, not as
narrow as the NRA originally feared, but broader than the
Brady Bunch had hoped for. Grenades and satchel charges are
"destructive devices", not personal arms, IMO.
