"From the Michigan Messenger, election officials in at least one
Michigan county are planning to challenge any voter who has received a
foreclosure notice on the grounds that they are supposed to be
registered at their address.

"Don't they have provisional ballots in Michigan? And not everyone is
kicked out of their house the minute it goes into foreclosure.

"60%% of sub-prime loans in Michigan were made to African-Americans.

"According to the article, the McCain regional headquarters leases
office space from a company specializing in foreclosures whose CEO has
raised between $100K and $250K for McCain.

"The article also says the GOP is planning a massive voter suppression
challenge campaign and is also organizing volunteers in Ohio. The
McCain campaign is said to be training them on voter challenges"

Do you think they should have been denied loans because they are African
Americans you racist?

Why do you think he's a "Doonesbury"? He doesn't see that he's been saved.

Similarly, the GOP Attorney General in Wisconsin has sued the state's
Government Accountability Board in an attempt to force it - or local
election officials - to verify the identity of every voter who registered
since the beginning of 2006 before allowing them to vote.

The G.A.B. is working on verification but says there's no way it can be
completed before November. They say forcing verification will cause huge
delays in voting (which will of course force many working voters to give
up & return to work without casting their ballot) and will result in many
perfectly legal voters being denied a ballot.

Gee, is there a pattern here?
