Yep, Ogalala Sue is a pretty woman and very sweet to boot. Actually it isn't
me, just a picture of some shooting friends.

I try to dress authentic all of the time. Many of us have been invited to
participate in the Jesse James shootout in Whites Creek next month to make
it look more authentic. They prefer us over your usual urban cowboy wearing
roach stompers and Levis. Most shooters dress authentic but there is some
deviations due to weather (it was hot in July) and budget for new shooters.
To get started costs about $1,200 for guns alone then you buy the clothing.
The minimum is blue jeans (yes there were blue jeans in the west) a long
sleeve shirt, cowboy boots and a hat. (no shady bradys please) Here is a

The next shoot is the Tennessee State Championship on Oct 11-13. Side
matches on the 11th and main stages on the 12th and the 13th.
Visitors are welcome. I seriously doubt B/W/E would show up. He would go
totally insane and soil his Pampers with so many firearms being carried
openly. If he would come on the 11th he could cower behind the 24" round 1"
thick steel target long range target. It's tough to hit shooting a 45/70 off
hand so he would have a chance to survive. There are smaller ones we have to
hit at that range but he couldn't cower behind them. ":o)
