Oh, I agree it's absurd. Sometimes I think people do stupid things like
that just to get attention.
OTOH, I've heard blind people say "I see what you mean." When we listen to
radio, we form images using that little television in our heads: the pineal
gland. AKA the third eye, which has more blood flow to it than any other
gland in the body, and happens to be lined inside with rods & cones, just
like another eye. When the lights go out, that little puppy produces the
melatonin and DMT which keeps us from getting bored at night.
