So? Of course, that's assuming she actually bore the child....
OTOH, the chief member of the ticket has no such courage of conviction.
He's flipped and/or flopped on just about every so-called conviction
he claimed to have had at one time...to the degree that he no longer
supports numerous major pieces of legislation that he authored and
helped pass.

So, you think tax policy, Federal budget policy, borrowing tens of
billions of dollars to hand out to the general public and to scores of
private contractors in the Middle East has no effect on the economy? Do
you think the decision to finance the government by paying billions in
interest annually has not effect?
Who formulated and pushed all those agendas? The government might not
have that much effect on the stock market; but it can present a huge
drain on a formerly healthy economy; and that *does* have a negative effect.

Nagin's learned his lesson? He called for evacuations ahead of Katrina.
He's calling for them now. If you want to see who's *really* learned
lessons, look at your puppet in chief. Before and even *during*
Katrina, he was at a birthday party in Arizona. He did a flyover
afterwards, but seemed generally unconcerned and disconnected from the
crisis until it threatened his popularity. He was getting better intel
from CNN than from his own crony appointees...and even that he dismissed.
Contrast this with his involvement this time around...speeches from FEMA
headquarters, etc.

North Carolina has it's own extreme terrain. Have you ever been there?
Capturing Eric Rudolph was not a declared National Priority with the
resources of entire *armies* supposedly at its disposal. Basically, it
was the the bailiwick of a couple of agencies, with much more limited
limited resources...and greater competition for those resources. Even
at that, he *was* captured; despite the fact that he 'only' killed a few
of the Godless heathens who were devoted to 'killing babies'.
Contrast that to the drumbeat of 'Capture Osama', the air strikes, the
CIA assets, the military on the ground, the supposed 'coalition' of
countries--all supposedly devoted to his capture.
Did you ever hear anybody in government *ever* say something like it
'was not all that important' to catch Rudolph? No. That's why he was
eventually captured. Bin Ladin OTOH:

They haven't captured him because they're 'not all that concerned' about
it. He serves a more important purpose at large.

If his age is such an issue, even to him, why would he run at all? Is
his hubris so deep that he believes himself so important to the country
that his value outweighs the possible national trauma of replacing a
leader in the middle of a term? That said, the rumors of McCain only
serving one term have been denied by his camp. Do you have some sort of
better information? If he's that worried that he won't be able to cut
it, he should pack his bags and go home--not saddle his party with
someone who they didn't pick and who who has even less federal
experience than his opponent (since 'experience' has been such an
important argument for them)...or an automatic lame duck.

Your judgement...and simple ad hominem to boot. Palin has run a very
aggressive government. She's done wholesale house-cleaning in the state
house during her (very) short tenure, and similar actions in her
mayorship. If the term 'ball buster' applies to Hilary, then it would
also apply in spades to Palin.
However, just the description shows you have little information to argue
from...about either woman.
