There will be some gangsta types who will take to the
streets if Obama wins and will try to intimidate any and all

Daley the Elder died and a black guy became mayor. There

The week officially ends at midnight. Tomorrow I'm going to
the family reunion of John Duke's wife. That will be in
Ridgetop. Her mother and uncle babysat me after my father
was drafted and my mother was wiring bombers at Vultee.
It's a really large entended family, mostly UT fans and
Democrats. It has a fair sprinkling of African Americans
and Asians, i.e., typical Tennesseans.

I never drew my pistol and consequently could not have
"almost shot those little black kids." Besides, they were
not little, they were not black, and they were not kids.
They were teens (16-19) and they were white or Hispanic.

It was Madison, not East Nashville, Jim, and I never drew
the gun. The only place I've had anything stolen from my
car was in Hillsboro Village in the parking lot behind the
pool hall more than 40 years ago. Of course my current car
was stolen from the apartment building's parking lot last
October.
