One wonders why Dread wanted to be a councilperson if talking with
constituents about issues is such a bother to him. Peasants are such a
waste of his time. Steine could teach Dread a few things about constituent
services and communication.

Where did this come from?

Are you defending Ronnie Steine? Is his LONG history of larceny and
lies (pre-dating by decades the whole Target fiasco) not relevant to
his suitability as a council member?

People draw lines for different reasons.

Maybe this has been covered previously and I missed it, but could you
expand on your claim of CBT's bigotry?
I would and will vote for her based on constituent service, even
though I don't agree with all of her voting record.
Just like I will vote for Ronnie Greer even though I don't agree with
his entire voting record.
I cannot overlook Steine's dishonesty. I know people who have known
him since he was a kid, and they report that he has always been
dishonest in many different facets of his life. People like that
don't change.

I know very little about Adam Dread, other than that he got away with
using a P.O. Box for an address for years and has some sort of past as
a radio personality/comedian. Also, he has some involvement in
setting up or being a partner in a topless carwash. (!)

That's one out of one and is hardly telling other than to suggest that
he might have happened to be sitting at his computer with nothing else
to do at the time

Wow - that's a leap if I ever heard one!

Look up her comments about the proposed non-discrimination legislation.
For example:
http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=15485
Her willingness to accept and use illogical and ill-informed arguments
against gays and lesbians indicates bigotry, not simply a difference of
opinion.

Here's a column that quotes from her remarks during the 2003 debate:
http://chris.quietlife.net/?p=162
There is a link to the council archives that does not work, but the
metro gov website does have archives of the Council meetings going
back to 2003 in *.wmv format.

Oh yeah, that. Well, I have philosophical issues with legislation
forcing folks not to discriminate on anything, but that's a whole
'nother topic.
