I agree with your opposition to, and perception of, the result of
bush(hog)onomics. What I hear about the Senate seat battle "Ford v,
Corker" is that Ford has grabbed the middle ground. This is a good
thing. Whatever it takes to get the seat~! You know how the 'pubs' cry
"soft on terror." Not insulting you, but in TN like TX, there is a
large neanderthal population. I was pleased to hear a TN pub recently
say she would vote for Ford. Astonished, I said nothing and left well
enough alone; so completely unlike myself~!
My yard is getting filled with Dem signs. It may cost me friends in
this district, but it may save me from killing the publucun canvassers
who came, last election. I ordered them off~! Interesting, they haven't
yet showed. Have they lost their energy, from shame?
TX has a 4-way Gub election, splitting the moderates vs the
Corruptublucun Perry. I hope a run-off is required for 50%% majority.
The good alt.candidate Strayhorn in independent, the Dem Bell is less
known and the colorful KinkyFriedman will split votes of the sane,
while Perry will get the kool-aid crowd.
I like Olin's declaration that he will vote the "DemParty" in
opposition to the Corruplucuns. To show my moderate self, it was not
long ago that I opposed the "Party option" (vote the whole straight
ticket), thinking it was an abuse more likely of Democratic voters.
Life has changed~! The Parties have changed~!
I yet may pull the lever for the whole Party, myself, showing my
opposition to the Corruptublucun crowd~!
In TX, the main Corruptublucuns, Perry, KayBailey, Pete Sessions suck
the donkey.
I'm praying both Houses come to the sane Party, and that impeachment
and criminal trials are held for the executive bullshit and little
dick. But I won't be happy unless they are given the "Braveheart"
treatment.... along with "the Sugarland piss, DeLay and many others.
