That statement itself is an illusion. It's also an allusion to the lie
that it's "all Bill's fault", you know--that tired old meme that's way
over used.

Fact is, that during the 90s, our executive branch of the government
did as much as they could for national security--the problem was the
majority in congress which was too obsessed with partisanship and
obstructionism to help out.

No we can't. But it's amazing how a vast majority of the country erased
the obvious culpability in this administration's inability to protect
the country. If Gore had been president, the towers would still have
been standing.
