The following was excerpted from an essay at
http://confederateyankee.mu.nu/archives/172284.php

One Vietnam veteran, an old retired colonel, once said this to me: "Most of
the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive
creatures who can only hurt one another by accident." This is true.
Remember, the murder rate is six per 100,000 per year, and the aggravated
assault rate is four per 1,000 per year. What this means is that the vast
majority of Americans are not inclined to hurt one another.

This is because most citizens are kind, decent people who are not capable of
hurting each other, except by accident or under extreme provocation. They
are sheep.

"Then there are the wolves," the old war veteran said, "and the wolves feed
on the sheep without mercy." Do you believe there are wolves out there who
will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil
men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget
that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in
denial.

"Then there are sheepdogs," he went on, "and I'm a sheepdog. I live to
protect the flock and confront the wolf."

I'm Voting Democrat!

Author: David Moffitt

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is
offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad
guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it
will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in
ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of
millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to
make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away
to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist
liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe
kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to
hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any
guns in the house to fight them off with.

Oh shit, I forgot about him and so did the government. That's why we are
bankrupting the country and costing thousands of lives. We forgot who
was responsible for 9/11. Wow, we have reacted EXACTLY like he wanted us
to. Must still be sitting in a cave somewhere chuckling.

Little lamb muffy is pasting some stupid blather by a veteran of a lost war
which was meant to oil the gears of industry with the blood of poor
draftees.

The sheep didn't formulate anything.
It just cut'n'pasted a chain letter.
So much easier than thinking.

It was an epiphany while studying the homeless for humorous stories. Nah,
that thought process he cut and pasted also
-- even though he does have
homeless family which he disses and other family he claims to beat up so I
quess that gives him license and paints a pretty good picture of what kind
of mind set your dealing with.
