Some may have seen the commercials Michael J Fox has done for a few
Democratic candidates. Some might have even seen him stump for Republican
Senator Arlen Specter... possibly even a couple other GOPers.
The common thread is that they all support stem cell research, specifically
as it might relate to a cure for Parkinson's Disease... a malady that Fox,
as it happens, suffers from.
Some might have heard a glimmer of the pompous windbag known as Rush
Limbaugh accusing Fox of acting, going off his meds and basically being
shameless in these ads.
Shameless... that's the word this world-class numbnutz used. He ought know
shameless, if anybody does.
Here's the kicker.
Fox has said he was NOT off his meds, rather was over-medicated, because you
take the medication and it kicks in when it kicks in. No way to predict it,
and he says that at this point in his disease, if he stops taking the meds,
he loses the ability to talk.
Here's the kicker to the kicker... Limbaugh has apologized... sort of.
On his Web site Tuesday, Limbaugh appeared to back away from his accusation.

The term *special place in hell* comes to mind. With the problems Rush
has had in his life, it seems some sense of empathy would have evolved
in him. One can only wonder what Karma awaits him.

You'd think he would develop something akin to human feelings, but no... HIS
drug-related issues were nothing more than a political plot to make him look
bad.
If he gets the karma he deserves, a goodly portion of it will be to find
himself locked in a room with Herb Jepko, one of his predecessors on talk
radio. Those who actually recall that name will recall his sickly sweet
overnight show called "The Nightcaps." It was every bit as inane, albeit in
an extraordinarily sweet fashion, as Limbaugh's drivel. Jepko spent four
hours every night talking to sweet little old ladies who were schleping
around the country in travel trailers and small RVs, discussing recipes and
varied ailments.
