So it would be ok to throw it over board if there is the
slightest hint that it might not be in our best interes?
Gee, with allies like that, Israel would need no enemies.

You left out the Kurds, which is beside the point. Shortly
after 9/11 some nut jobs attacked a Sheikh store owner
because he was wearing traditional head garb which they
thought was Arab. Stupidity is a universal commodity.

Commoner? We have royality now? I wouldn't be surprised to
find out that she's being vetted on all things international
even as I type.

From your perspective, but Israel was founded in large part
by Holocaust survivors and Russian Jews who had fled the
oppression of the Soviets. "Never again" is more than a
bumper sticker motto.

Just ignoring blood thirsty loons doen't make them go away.
Neither does playing nice and negotiating with them, with or
without pre-conditions. It didn't work with Hitler, Stalin,
Pol Pot, or Saddam. It won't work with Ahmadinejad (bitch
to spell, isn't it .. I like Leno's Ah-ma-nutjob). Hell,
it's barely working with the ailing North Korean Bantam
rooster, Kim Jong-Il.

The horses have long been out of the Pakistan and Indian
barns. And wasn't it a Pakistani scientist who sold North
Korea and Iran atomic "secrets"?
I read a brief report just recently stating that the U.S. is
selling Israel some modern blockbuster bombs (back to your
point about military sales). I wonder of a number of MOABs
(Mother of All Bombs) are included. Israel ended Saddam's
nuclear dreams by a pre-emptive strike on his single site
that was relatively exposed. Nutjob learned a lesson from
his neighbor/enemy ... spread them and hide them deep.
MOABs penetrate several yards of concrete, rock, and steel
before exploding. Could it be?
If Israel does strike at Iran's nuclear facilities, the
strike will most likely be between Nov.4, 2008 and Jan. 20,
2009. After a new president is chosen and before he takes
office. (Damn, there I go again, being a hate mongering,
fear mongering, blood thirsty war monger).
Just the way I see it.
