| There you go again with the stupid putdowns and no explanation. You
| may really have lost it, Kent. I don't always agree with Blackie or
| maxo and can see where you think there's not a lot of substance to
| their arguments. That said, you really don't prove anything here.

| First of all, this has zippo to do with my ancestry and everythiing to
| do with the fact that I actually have been to that region of the world
| and know a fair amount about it. Conversely, most Americans think
| Iranians and Turks are Arabs because we're a nation that's largely
| ignorant on many fronts. Honestly, I was told that my entire life
| growing up in TN. Ohhh, you're an Aaa-rab. This is why I have the
| perspective I do on Sarah Palin. I really do believe her naiviety and
| lack of knowledge about the world is attractive to some people and I
| find that sad. I want our country to have the best leaders possible,
| not someone who can't rise above the average commoner.

| Israel certainly has a right to defend itself, but it's gone on the
| attack against others under questionable circumstances many times in
| its brief history as well.

| I've gone on record many, many, many, many times as saying the
| president of Iran is a damn loon and is doing nothing but trying to
| advance his standing among radicals on the international scene. Saying
| stupid things like the Holocaust didn't happen doesn't even merit a
| response, yet he provokes them from the international community. If
| people just paid no attention to the assclown, his influence, whatever
| it is, would wane.

| As far as nukes, I see the danger in him having them; having said
| that, did you worry as much about Pakistan having them? India? My
| point is there are a number of loons in the world with access to
| nukes, biological agents, etc.
