Another Bald Eagle Sighting

Last Wednesday around 1:00 p.m. I took notice of a *very* big bird
flying north/northwest. The stark white head juxtaposed against the
satin sheen coal colored body and the distinctive powerful flapping
motion of the heavy wings make a Bald Eagle quite easy to distinquish
once one can overcome the incredulity borne of the rarity of such a
vision.

This is my fourth sighting, my second here on the farm. I've also
seen one flying near I-24 in the Whites Creek area and two swirling
together over White Bridge Road near Nashville Tech. In the latter
instance I wondered how many of the people traveling that road even
noticed the large birds waltzing or realized what they were seeing if
they did.

I'm reminded of a Titan's night game when a Whippoorwill whooshed
closeby and a girl sitting nearby said, "Did you see that duck?"

Lift up thine eyes.
