A Perfect Day!

I thought a recount of my fabulous day would be a good tonic
considering the vile hate and liberalism I usually spread...

Got up late, at half past eight to a friendly lick from the fluffy
rascal. Fed 'em, did the usual chores, then got a call at ten as I was
drinking my jo, from a really sweet gal who wanted to buy a bike...

First, what a great story to read first thing Sunday Morning.

There are folks who can go on and on and be painfully boring. Then
there are folks like you who can take roughly the same amount of space
and use it wisely.

WRT the line I highlighted: I'm in my new home, mostly, now I'm a
Sylvan Brother. Couple of days ago I was out carefully watering my
plants and a young lady rode past on her bike. Not wearing the goofy
racing attire, just a simple black dress with a pleated skirt. The
skirt protected her modesty, Kent, but the vision of her smiling face
and the flowing skirt kept me pleased all day.

I spent the day with my younger brother and 50 other men and women competing
with our "gubs". I spent my evening cleaning my 2 Colt clones, 1873
Winchester rifle, an 1878 double hammered 12 ga. shot gun and finally my
Remington rolling block rifle in 45/70. I have yet to clean my Wesson
Harrison rifle in 45/70 I let my brother shoot. I had a great time shooting
my "gubs" because I choked a lot of people from the black powder smoke I
created. I do not shoot that modern heathen smokeless stuff. That's for
women, small children and girly men liberals.

Hell, man, just reread and got the compliment. [blush] I'm just a
basic writer--but I learned to write as I speak from the venerable
Bill Brown, poet and teacher. Just put down yer words with some
punctuates, and you'll be all Faulkner an shit!

I was always taught that black powder residue should be cleaned out
immediately after shooting.....
