The United States. The militia is everybody capable of bearing arms in the
common defense. The militia is NOT a bunch of guys parading on the court
house green.

Same use as rifles and shotguns: to kill people. That's why cops, the
military, and sensible people have them.

The National Guard has not replaced the militia. As for parking his tank,
no. The 3rd Amendment prohibits that.

Right.

Neither were white men. The Consititution was not ratified by a vote of the
people.

I suggest carrying a weapon gives you more, but even if you're right a false
sense of security is better than a true sense of doom. I carry a weapon
(two, actually). I've had three occasions to display it. In any of those
three, I would have been robbed, injured, or killed without it.

Right. But with a weapon you have the opportunity to waylay others.

Huh? Up until now, your statements, while wrong, at least made sense.
