..it started with Reagan in 1980...."government is not the solution,
government is the problem". And then his "trickel down economics" and
cut of taxes on the wealthy while continuing to write hotchecks to
cronies and the military-industrial complex, putting us $THREE
TRILLION IN DEBT. G W BUSH HAS AGAIN DONE THE SAME THING. It is a New
Republican Party intentional plan to assure thier cronies get cash and
advantages so that no funds are available for the betterment of
general society and the national public infrastructure.
This disparaging of good government is just plain traitorous.
I was listening on NPR to Congressman Ander Crenshaw, Florida
Republican, blame Democrats for the mortgage debacle. "...(they
pushed to get unqualified people loans.. it is all the Democrats
fault)..".
He failed to mention that the loans were made by greedy brokers who
got paid only for initiation of the loans and then sold them to
banks...bundled...with no oversight by the new mortgage holder nor did
the broker make any effort to sell moderate, starter home loans ...at
a fixed rate....to low income folks. This added to the low income
buyer's travails.
The New Republican Party, are now traitors to this great nation's
constitution and Bill of Rights. Spoliers of a society evolved by
progressives and carefully crafted centuries of policies to develop
opportunity for all.
The New Republican Party, proven purveyors of:
misinformation
unbridled greed
censorship
militarism
deficits
bribery
extortion
retribution
theocracy
racism
corporatism
imperialism
cronyism
incompetence
