Judge finds prosecution of delivery man unconstitutional

Wisconsin is one of only two states that have no provision for the
issuance of carry permits. (Illinois is the other). Wisconsin passed a
RKBA amendment to their state constitution in (IIRC) 1998. Since then,
there have been a number of cases in which the courts have overturned
sections of the current WI law concerning the carrying of firearms.

The first ruling was narrow - that the law was unconstitutional with
respect to carrying on your own property. As time has gone on, no carry
law has yet been passed, the courts have struck down broader sections of
the law.

We're either going to see Wisconsin pass a carry permit law, or we're
going to see the courts turn Wisconsin into a Vermont-carry state. (If
that sounds absurd, remember, Minnesota was a Vermont-carry state until
1975.)
