Those are the exact sorts of things the DMV uses as proof of residence
for issuing drivers licenses.

Accordingly, they are subject to no more and no fewer problems than
using actual drivers' licenses.

But, you asked for alternative methods. Those are perfectly viable
alterntive methods and are every bit as reliable as drivers' license
addresses.

Indeed, better in some respects as there is a 30 grace period for
updating your address with DMV but for voting it's your actual current
residence address. Folks who move need to reregister to vote immediately
while they have a month to update their DMV records.

During that 30 day period, their driver's license will NOT reflect their
current address.
