I got a message today when signing on, that I cannot recover so
I'll paraphrase as best I can.
It's a new security procedure for when you are accessing your account
from " a computer you do not normally use" which requires adding phone
numbers to their database (they have for some time almost forced you
to give them your bank account number) and some other extensive
procedures.
.
In other words, they want you to sell your first born because they
want to operate risk free regardless of the inconvenience or risk to
thier customers...pfui... Every leadership change in the new
business model moves further from the key to success.
Pfui. Like in our government ....a bunch of leaders at Ebay need to
be fired.( Leadership incompetence is so pervasive these days. I
believe it emanates from the new monumental self centered and greedy
bias at the top. like the New Republican Party Bushites work for.)

I have purchases a few things from Ebay over the last couple of days and was
not asked to enter any new private information [I haven't changed anything in
many years]. Are you sure you are not the victim of phishing?

There is a new security policy they implemented just today but I am
not sure of all the details. It indeed is triggered by using
different computers (not sure if it is IP addresses or what). They've
been warning about it for a while.

I would just as well have them call me immediately if they believe my EBay
account has been hijacked rather than waiting around for an email to be read.
It sounds positive to me.
But I don't think the new Ebay security measure has anything to do with what
Carl was intending to post ... absolutely nothing at all.

I prescribe Risperdal for you. Please go to your Doctor, get a referal and
ask for a second opinion, but I believe this is probably your first line of
attack for the illness that you endure. Be prepared, it might require 24
hours impatient if you haven't been treated with such before.

You know what they say:
"The great thing about being 'parnoid' (sic) is that you only have to
be right once to make it all worthwhile." ;-)
