register their firearms with the USA government.

Gun owners should be subjected to a
cradle to grave background check,
that includes, but not limited to,

DNA,
fingerprints,
full face and profile photographs,
verifiable home and employment address,
Psychological Testing as to suitably of that
individual to possess/own a firearm of any kind.

References from at least 3 sources that does not include family.

This background check should be applied to anyone that owns
or is in possession of a firearm of any kind, regardless of when
they acquired that firearm.

No exceptions should be tolerated.

Let's not also forget that one shooting was stopped short because one of the
potential victims had a concealed handgun, and shot the perpetrator. Conceal
carry of peaceful law abiding citizens is a proven deterrent to crime, and
the only effective defence shown to work against suicidal murderers.

and of course, we all have an inherent and imputable divine right to
effectively defend ourselves... and a government's opinion on that one way
or the other will never change that fact. Infringement of a right is an
assault in its own right.
