Hi all,
A few friends of mine have been working hard on a new website called
fictionthis.com and they have recently launched it. If you are
interested in getting involved or just check out the site.
Here is an extract:
"Fiction This is a unique social site that allows you to share ideas
and have unbiased input into creating a published work of quality
fiction. Any creative writing has three core elements: the plot, the
characters and the setting. Together with other users of fictionthis
from around the world, you have total control in forming the story."
Cheers,
Ilia

G'nite. And don't worry about Baba WaWa's infidelity with the negro
republican senator from Massachusetts. He was a moderate republican like
McCain, and that doesn't count.
Why do black men like to make out with ugly white women? Even Bill Clinton
did it.

Hello, Alan. As a friend I'd like to suggest that you stop bad-mouthing Ray
so much. He and I recently had a long phone conversation, and he had some
nice things to say about you.

Has anyone but me noticed that young female singers have an odd way of
pronouncing the word "to"?
They pronounce it "tsu."
"You better keep it tsu yourself," or "Tsuday, I woke up."
What is up with that??

E-query OK
==================================
1) Please send a query letter only. Do NOT send any sample pages. An
author bio, either contained in the query letter or on a separate sheet
is ok.
(2) Do not send us books printed by PublishAmerica, iUniverse, Xlibris,
or anybody else as a sample of your work. It will, in 99.9%% of the
cases, work against you. Obviously, that also means don't include those
books in your query letter or list of credits, either.
(3) Do not make grand claims about "guaranteed best-seller" or "my book
is the next (insert the name of hugely popular book)." All that tells us
is that you probably don't understand the publishing industry, and we're
going to have severe communication issues.

Mrs Rich has a big, thick sirloin lapping up a delcious marinade; and in
about 30 minutes I'll toss it on the grill and let the searing coals do
their magic. Prolly have a coupla fresh, green veggies on the table, a
baked potato beside my plate, a cheap Texas red for beverage, and some
strawberries with artificial sweetner smeared all over them. Ah, opulent
life in the United States is priceless. Can't put a value on it high
enough.
If I don't get back to the ng before tomorrow, everyone post well, and don't
worry about all the people in Burma that the hurricane killed. As the Rev
Jeremiah Wright would say, "It's just the chickens coming home to roost."

No e-subs.
Granta's redone their Web site since the last time I was there. I
visited because Georganna Hancock < http://www.writers-edge.info/>
mentioned that they've started an every-two-weeks "New Voices" section
in their new "Online Only" section where they will publish a new short
story of exceptional promise from someone who isn't well-known and may
never have been published before.
Loads of Web content here. Read it and see whether you can write in a
similar vein.
"Here is a list of things that Granta does not publish:
