You fellas that are single could you fill me in on your lifestyles?

I want to know if you have apartments, rent hotel rooms or just live out of
your trucks. How many days off you take. What you do about relationships
with the females. Are there women out there that will accept a b/f with a
truckers lifestyle?

Also, I am curious about any of you that avoid restaurants, what kind of
appliances you may have (cooler, oven etc.). What foods do you eat?

"Democrats: The fix is on

The Washington Times
April 3, 2008

Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean has a plan that will produce
a nominee before his party's convention in August, avoiding what he
fears could be a "really ugly and nasty" fiasco.

Democratic leaders have begun complaining he has bungled the party's
nominating process and alienated voters because of his failure to
engineer a political compromise in the DNC's ill-advised decision to
strip Florida and Michigan of all its delegates. But Mr. Dean, whose
polls show the party's internecine warfare is hurting its chances in
November, has been talking to party bigwigs about a deal and now says
the delegations will be seated before the nominating roll of the
states is called.

Plane Lands On I-81

POSTED: 9:20 am EDT April 3, 2008

Plenty of vehicles run out of gas on Interstate 81, but not many
airplanes.

Virginia State Police said a student pilot on his first solo flight was
heading back to Virginia Highlands Airport from Knoxville, Tenn., Wednesday
afternoon when the plane ran out of fuel.

The pilot, Matthew Edward Scott, 27, of Blountville, Tenn., made an
emergency landing on I-81 within sight of the airport in Abingdon.

Sgt. Danny Glick commended the pilot for landing with the traffic flow so
no vehicles were hit during the landing. He said Scott was not injured and
will not face charges.

Airport staff brought fuel to the disabled Cessna and troopers briefly shut
down southbound I-81 while the plane taxied to the airport.

This nut could have easily killed a lot of people due to his own
negligence. This is a lot worse than drunk driving but the cops pat him on
the back and say forget it!!!

Approaching a rest area, saw a straight truck with a huge sign hung on the back of it. "Pull Over and Park. Truckers Unite". As I drove the rental freightshaker pulling a 48' reefer past the rest area, I noted that there were no apparent commercial vehicles actually in the rest area, just the one straight truck parked on the Interstate approaching the rest area. -Dave

If I was still single I'd live out of my truck. I have several single friends who live out of their truck. Oh, and rent a motel room every once in a while, just for a kind of mini vacation away from the truck.

What's a day off? You must not be a driver yet. That's not a question or a joke. If you are a driver you are on duty 24/7. You are even on duty when you are sleeping, and when you are awake but not working. Yes, it's that regulated. If you want a day off, you have to change careers or retire.

Heck yes. If you are a driver, you attract such females, also.

That would be anybody who wants to keep part of his earnings.

OK, you must not be a driver yet. The question isn't what kind of appliances you carry in the tractor. The question is, how big of an inverter does your employer allow? I mean, an oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, they are all nice. But if you are limited to less than a thousand watt inverter, you can't run shit for appliances.

Yup........The Democrats are going to Choose the Presidential
Candidate in the BACK ROOM........Donchaknow........Ain't That A
HOOT?.........Heehee........

"Obscure panel may chose Democratic nominee

WASHINGTON, April 3 (UPI) -- An obscure political committee could wind
up deciding who will be the Democrats' U.S. presidential nominee,
party officials say.

Twenty-five people reportedly have been appointed to the panel so far
by Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, The Washington
Times reported Wednesday.

The committee, which usually has little bearing on election nominees,
would be given the responsibility of handling any unresolved questions
concerning the choosing of alternates and delegates, the Times
reported. The committee has received increased attention this election
since the Florida and Michigan Democratic officials decided in
February not to hold repeat primaries."

HEEHEE!! - "ARGENTINA AGAIN CLAIMS THE FALKLANDS!!"

Author: Screen Ranger

Yup.......But this time the "Battle" is Just Whining over whether
Britain will give the Argentinians Permission to Visit the Islands by
Air or by Sea........Probably better than to get their Mizerable Asses
KICKED AGAIN by the Brits......Donchaknow.......Heehee.......

"Argentine president lays 'inalienable' claim to Falklands

BUENOS AIRES (AFP) - Argentina's claim to the Falkland Islands, which
remain in British hands after the 1982 war between the two countries,
is "inalienable," President Cristina Kirchner said Wednesday.

The comments came as Kirchner faces her own woes, battling against
farmers who have barricaded roads in a protest against a stiff tax
hike on soybean exports.

The conflict has created shortages of meat and other staples in Buenos
Aires and elsewhere, and tested the social fabric, with pro- and anti-
government supporters holding dueling rallies.

Foreign Minister Jorge Taina said, meanwhile, that Argentina was
awaiting authorization from Britain to allow families of Argentine
military personnel killed in the war to fly to the islands for the
inauguration of a memorial.
