Swift Transportation NOT CLEARED in commercial drivers license investigation

Author: p1commissioner
Date: Mar 5, 2008 08:42

I am an independent author and researcher who decided to do some fact
checking on my own, and have several contacts in Tennessee state law
enforcement. Contrary to the public statements issued by Dave Berry,
spokesperson for Swift Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona, sources close
to the investigation, speaking on background and on condition of
anonymity, stated that "the relationship between Swift Corporation and
this trucking school IS A VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THE ONGOING

C.B. Radio's Gotta Go Mr. Trucker Joe!

dawn of interstate travel. I can remember my Grandfather talking on
his when he drove for the Teamsters back in the early '70's and I
absolutely thought that was one of the coolest things. I never thought
I'd end up driving a truck like he did but here I am, and that cool
radio just ain't cool no more. With New Jersey now issuing tickets to
motorists who use a cell phone while driving and with Washington now
doing the same for persons who are caught 'texting' messages while
driving where does that leave the legality of the ol' CB? Every year
when the snow starts to fall high speed wahoo's racing against the 11
hour clock forget where their responsibilities should firstly be and
that is driving. Too many accidents happen every year because of
driver inattentiveness and with truckers that largely centers around
usage of a CB radio. It is not used anymore in compliance with FCC
guidelines with proper language and content and 1 out of 3 truckers
violate FCC regs by attaching a linear amplifier (aka. heater, kicker)
which can be punished with fines of several thousand dollars. I have
never before seen any solid real reason to have one other than the
occasional receiver who within FCC regs notifies a driver when they ...
