WOW

"Oil reaches $109.72 before settling at record $108.75"

By JOHN WILEN
The Associated Press
3/11/2008

NEW YORK -- The cost of filling up the family car climbed to a record
high Tuesday, adding to the challenges consumers already face with
falling home values and rising food prices.

It all happened in the wake of another record oil price, as light
sweet crude for April delivery surged to a new trading record of
$109.72 on the New York Mercantile Exchange before retreating after
the Energy Department and International Energy Agency cut crude
consumption forecasts for this year. Futures settled 85 cents higher
at $108.75, a new record.

This news report brought to you by OPEC. We want you to bend over so we
can get more than just your wallet.

Take care,
Rich

Even though he's dead it makes about much sense
to vote for him as it does for the choices
that we have who are living. At least he's not
going change his position on anything.

THe problem is that there are union workers who will be affected, mainly at
border and port locations, who will find themselves losing some of those
protected jobs at those locations, when they are no longer needed to handle
freight that crosses borders.

  Mem'ries...*

Author: gpsman

...Light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were

Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? Could we?

Mem'ries, may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget

So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember...
The way we were...
The way we were...
