  Typical 4-wheeler crash

Author: CCBlack
Date: Feb 10, 2008 21:08

I admit I'm really callous when I hear about auto crashes. Throughout
my driving career I've witnessed the most atrocious driving habits of
the public. Also having lived in and around the DFW area for the past
28 years I'm aware of the terrible driving habits of people around
here. ( But it's typical of any big U.S. city ). When I heard about
this crash this morning ( having not heard any of the details ) I
thought to myself " that idiot driver was going to fast and smashed
into the back of that truck ".

Well ... sure enough a few of the details came out later today.
Police estimate the car was traveling in excess of 25 mph over the
speed limit for that road ( 55 in a 30 mph zone ). Amazing that the
police don't seem to put any particular blame on the truck ( or truck
driver ) for parking the rig there. Citing that it is parked there
quite often and that's it's in an industrial zone.

Who Are the Best Auto Transport Carriers?

Author: F. Hayek
Date: Feb 10, 2008 19:37

I've see adds for companies like Precision Motor Transport Group (PMTG)
and Waggoners. Anybody know anything (worth sharing) about these
carriers or the auto transport industry in general? It looks like
(PMTG) runs the northeast US mostly and it looks like Waggoners runs
nationwide. Anybody know of any other big or interesting transporters?

Remember this group has decided to ignore the wasted posters and eliminate
unwanted solicitations to enhance the group. So far it's been working very
well with the use of some filters. In fact it's brought back a couple of
posters that left because of the old ways. So it's working, so please keep
it in place.

"Obviously the concept of Polaroids was never going to be much more than a
niche in the age of digital photos"
