Super Tuesday: And Now the 'Jewish Primary' Begins

Author: m hart
Date: Feb 3, 2008 22:43

What this piece doesn't mention is that it's not Jewish
votes that decide elections - their numbers are just too
small - but their huge influence in the media and the
large amount of money they contribute to candidates.

And now the 'Jewish primary' begins . . .
By Raphael J. Sonenshein

When California moved its presidential primary to Feb. 5, and other
big states followed suit, the strategic role of Jewish voters in the
nominating process was greatly enhanced.

Inadvertently, the states created a "Jewish primary." New York,
California, Florida, Illinois, Connecticut and Massachusetts will vote
on or just before Feb. 5. (Florida's primary was held on Jan. 29.)

In the more than 20 states that hold primaries or caucuses in that
one-week span live 5,111,685 Jews, according to the American Jewish
Committee's (AJCommittee) 2006 American Jewish Year Book, representing
nearly 80 percent of all American Jews.

This URL was sent to another list. I copied the text of the web page into
the email, for folks who don't like doing web pages. Does this sound like a
fair price? What contents should the kit have, or should be left out as
useless?

The web page didn't have a picture of the assembled kit.

States Consider Calling Back Nat'l Guards from Iraq

Author: Bob Brock
Date: Feb 3, 2008 17:36

http://us.oneworld.net/article/view/157390/1/

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 31 (OneWorld) - State legislators in Vermont
introduced legislation Wednesday demanding the state's National Guard
troops return from Iraq. Lawmakers in Minnesota, New Hampshire, and
Pennsylvania are poised to push similar legislation.

At the heart of the matter is a contention that President George W.
Bush's legal authority to deploy the National Guard to Iraq has
expired.

"Congress laid out a pretty specific mission for the Guard in 2002,"
Vermont State Representative Michael Fisher (D-Lincoln) told OneWorld.
"That mission was two things: it was to defend the national security
of the United States [against] the threat posed by Iraq, and, two, to
enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions. I
don't believe there are any credible arguments that the state of Iraq
poses a risk to the Untied States or that there may still be weapons
of mass destruction in Iraq."

From Solzhenitsyn's Gulag: The Simplest Methods which Break the Will

An excerpt on interrogation methods from Solzhenitsyn's Gulag
Archipelago
Citation: Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago: 1918-1956
(New York, NY: Perennial, 2002), pp. 44-55.

Excerpted by Calgacus

06/22/05 "ICH" - - In The Gulag Solzhenitsyn writes:

Let us try to list some of the simplest methods which break the will
and the character of the prisoner without leaving marks on his body
Let us begin with psychological methods.....

1. First of all: night. Why is it that all the main work of breaking
down human souls went on at night? Why, from their very earliest
years, did the Organs select the night? Because at night, the
prisoner, torn from sleep, even though he has not yet been tortured by
sleepless-ness, lacks his normal daytime equanimity and common sense.
He is more vulnerable.

Vt. lawmakers seek to pull Guard from war

Author: Bob Brock
Date: Feb 3, 2008 09:45

http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/01/ap_vermontguard_080130/

MONTPELIER, Vt. — Fed up that Washington hasn’t done more to end the
war, a group of Vermont lawmakers said Tuesday that the president no
longer has the authority to use Guard troops in Iraq.

State Rep. Michael Fisher, D-Lincoln, said the authority to call up
Guard members for Iraq duty has expired because that country no longer
poses a threat to U.S. national security.

“The mission authorized in 2002 does not exist,” said Fisher, who
plans to introduce a bill backed by 30 colleagues Wednesday that calls
on Gov. Jim Douglas to join the effort. “Unless Congress grants a new
authorization, the Vermont Guard should revert back to state control.”

Contradict the Powers That Be: They'll Label You a Terrorist

If anyone questions the Jewish version of the Holocaust(tm) in Europe
and Canada, they run the real risk of going to prison. But will these
same tactics soon be used against 9/11 "Truthers?" Yes, it is indeed a
possibility with the new bill now in the senate, S-1959 (HR-1955),
that could very well allow such a thing. Watch the video above (strong
language) and read on!

There are people, even right now, who have been physically attacked,
jailed, careers ruined and fines levied for questioning any part of
the Holocaust(tm). The German-born, Canadian citizen Ernst Zündel is
now sitting in prison for his research work into the subject and his
brave work in defending the German people from the never-ending
slanders of them being evil Nazis all the time. Do you ever wonder why
this keeps going on and on - without the Germans getting seriously
pissed? Well, I have news for you - they have been!
