industry leading agribusiness entity.
Job Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to assist the Business Unit Leader and
his or her staff in all aspects of International Documentation, Customer
Service and General Supervision of Administrative responsibilities. Also,
the Senior Sales and Acquisitions Administrator will coordinate all
operational and logistical efforts between sales/customer support and the
Operations staff. The responsibilities of this position also include
assisting and managing grower relations and inventory management while
products are acquired, off-site and in transit to facility.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Handle and process all international documentation and customer shipment
requirements. -Document and coordinate customer shipping schedules, stack
reservations and requests. -Supervise and oversee all aspects of
administration and accountability of inventory, production, and sales
documentation with General Manager, Business Unit Leader and Corporate
Headquarters. -Act as the liaison and coordinator between customer
service/sales and production/operations staff. -Responsible for grower
relationships and must support all buying/acquisitions efforts in
preliminary stages before inventory reaches facility and while in
transit. -Network and coordinate with production and operational staff to
ensure efficient, accurate operations to obtain upmost customer
satisfaction. -Actively participate in management meetings and efforts to
improve processes and maximize business efforts. -Facilitate and support all
customer visits, facility tours and other details for sales representatives,
to maximize customer service and Business Unit organization. -Report and
organize weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales, and customer updates,
presentations and meetings by proactively gathering customer information and
data. -This position requires full time employment on weekdays from
8:00am-5:00pm with limited overtime.

skills. Most importantly, employee must be self disciplined and highly
motivated. Strong Work Ethic: Given the nature of our industry, the hay
export business is a seasonal process that may require longer hours and
increased demands during harvest months, decreasing in non-harvest month.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: B.A./B.S. in business administration, agriculture or
related field. Experience in the forage export industry or similar industry
is advantageous, but not required.
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and
customers is required, along with excellent grammar and spelling skills.
Must have the ability to communicate and work with people of different
cultures, specifically within the Pacific Rim and Asia.
Computer skills/Competency: Basic Competency with software such as Microsoft
Office 2003 & 2007 along with Microsoft Windows XP & Vista are required.
Also, must be able and willing to learn IBM AS400 system for inventory,
production, & sales management. Preference is given to stronger skills and
education regarding these and similar systems.
Physical Abilities Required:
Employee must occasionally lift heavy objects such as office supplies and
product samples up to 20 lbs. Employee will often be exposed to dusty
agricultural environments.
