As soon as President Bush and Congress agree on a spending bill for the
wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it will push the total for the two conflicts
to over $500 billion. How much is $500 billion? There are 300 million legal
residents of the United States. That amounts to over $1,600 for every
American man, woman and child. When you factor in illegal immigrants in the
country that Americans support, the figure is much higher.

Well, the first push in the current energy price uppage came from
Albutt Bore's regional blending requirements, which make it difficult
to sell gas blended for one town tot he next town over.

Then you got Barney Frank nostalgic for Pinko Peanut inflation and
keeping Bernanke from raising rates high enough to make China, Iran
and RUssia humble again.

BTW, USA inflation is th ehighest in the developed world.
