We are an independant, consumer information website dedicated to ALL
recalls, WORLDWIDE !
The last year has seen a huge increase in the number of deadly product
recalls!
Spinach, Dog Food, Childrens Toys all get major headlines...But there
are problems...
1. Unless you check several recall websites dutifully daily, there are
a lot of recalls you miss, period !!!
2. Many of our products are from China, hence so many China
recalls...But there are many products from other countries you are not
aware of, that can do harm...
3. Information on recalls is confusing, uninformative and sometimes
panicky...We hear about a ''peanut butter'' recall, and we stop eating
ALL peanut, when only one brand is affected.
4. Relying on T.V, Radio, Newspaper, and all the other 100's of
websites, for your recall information, is a time- consuming,
outdated, dangerous way for you to get your recall info.

I'm trying to dull the tapping noise from the pipes in my ceiling.
What materials could I use to deaden the noise? I tried cork tiles
but that had no effect whatsoever on the noise.
I've read that the idea is to use many layers of different materials.

The half ton mum: Tragic story of world's heaviest woman
By TAMARA HARDINGHAM-GILL - More by this author »

Renee Williams became the largest person ever to have gastric bypass
surgery earlier this year after ballooning to nearly seventy stone but
died 12 days later.
The bedridden 29-year-old begged doctors to perform the operation when she
became so large that she couldn't hug her two children.
Her astonishing size meant that the operating table had to be specially
widened for the procedure.
The operation was successful and Renee lost four stone due to her reduced
stomach capacity before dying of a sudden heart attack less than two weeks
later. Her story is told in a Channel 4 programme next week.
Renee, from Austin, Texas, had battled with her weight since childhood and
was classified as super-morbidly obese at the age of 12.
She was married by the age of 15 and had her first child, Mirina, at 16
weighing 30 stone.

Thanks for all the feedback, even if I did not agree with all of it.
Anyhow, I noticed several persons asked what brand and model this
camera was. It was a HP Photosmart M547.
I would have thought HP would make a decent camera, but I was wrong.
They are a big name anyhow, not some no-name piece of junk.
Although this camera was defective to use batteries that fast, there
must have been more wrong with it. The pictures it did take were very
poor. The colors were not even right, not to mention grainy and
lacking sharpness. The only good thing I can say about it was that it
was easy to learn to use. Otherwise we hated everything about it.
It was when I had just installed the 3rd or 4th set of new batteries,
and got a low battery warning as soon as the flash started to power
up, (having not yet taken even one picture on those batteries), that I
told the wife to put it back in the return box before I take a hammer
to it.

Hate to break it to you, but if EVERYONE was skinny, there would still be
kids in the 95th percentile. You take every kid, place them in order.
The kid with the highest number, no matter what that is, is BY DEFINITION
in the 99th percentile. It's based on a raw median, not a statistical
standard.

95th percentile would mean that they are more obese then 95%% of the
population. 5%% would be either as obese, or more obese. How can 15%% of 6
to 11 year olds and 10%% of 12 to 17 year olds account for only 5%% of all
kids? Are there 3 times as many 0 to 6 year olds as the other two groups
combined?

Aparently failed in math class.

And crap like this is why people hate/fear the government. This type of
bull$hit is just another example of the government overstepping it's
authority, regulating morality, force proper thought, and basically tell
you how to live your own life. It's pathetic, and people who support that
make me sick.
