Crazy stuff. When I was a kid, back in the 70's, I used to walk up to the
local shopping center, to the A & P, which became Super Fresh. It's now
this monster Ukrops which is too big for the parking lot. The parking
sucks. They are doing the same thing for the Wal Mart being built down the
street. The irony is, Hollywood Video closed up right after they started
building, so if the timing had been right, they could have taken over
practically the whole lot, which used to be the main mall before Regency
Square went up in '76. It used to be a parking lot for school buses. now
that is a dinosaur and all those huge outdoor malls are kicking its butt.
The Ridge Cinema across the street and down the block was closed down and
demolished, it too a dinosuar, and a Kroger stands in it's...
