  OT? Dumpster Diving

Author: Joe
Date: Jan 6, 2007 20:28

Small, but good article about dumpster diving in a hacker magazine someone
handed me today... "Blacklisted! 411" is the name and it mostly covers
electronics and re-selling, but is a worthy read. Also has a list of web
sites I'll post below in case someone wants to visit them.
The issue is:

Fall 2006. Volume 8, Issue 3

No... I don't work for them... But their web site is
http://www.blacklisted411.net/ if you want to get a copy of the magazine.

I won't type the whole article in... But below are the web sites listed at
the end of the article. I'm betting that a good number of them are from
present or former "members" here.

Tell him to pay his back rent. (Don't hold your breath.)

About your only option is to start formal eviction procedures and follow
them through. If any other family members complain, respond with "Fine,
let's go help him pack so he can move in with you".

In the event he never signed a lease, you may be able to force him out
fairly quickly, but check with an attorney if you're not very familiar
with the laws in your area.

Good luck.

It's good to know that after all these false starts and
failures, you have finally come up with a workable model for
online shopping. I'm sure that Amazon, buy.com, ebay and other
flameouts will be happy to hear this.

  cell phone broken

Hello.

My cell phone I have been using has a problem with the screen (not
showing anything) - it still makes calls. I started with a family plan
with AT&T which eventually became Cingular. My plan is very good...

Because it costs more to make one sided paper, stupid.

Did you have this relative sign a lease? What are the landlord tenant
laws in your town? Any lease, plus any landlord/tenants laws need to be
followed closely. Is there a family member or friend of the tenant who
can intervene on your behalf?

Beats me. I have only had two microwave ovens. Around 18 years ago, my
parents bought my a Panasonic microwave oven as a gift. That microwave
was still going strong when I got rid of it last spring. The only reason
I got rid of it was because it was too big for my needs. I wanted
something a little smaller and with more wattage.
