Thats what I initially thought but my experiences with freecycle have
totally soured me on it. I asked people to phone, not email. Many
emailed anyway. Then they wanted to come when it was convenient for
them and the h--- with my schedule. And then they expected me to
deliver. and when they came, they wouldn't just take the box of stuff,
but they had to spread it over my garage to pick out what they wanted
and left the rest.

Lowell Steiger's Personal Injury Blog - McDonald's Coffee Case, Not Frivolous At All

Author: Lowell
Date: Jan 1, 2007 16:38

Hi All,

It's true that I am a personal injury attorney. However, I am not
using my blog to get cases. My practice is busy as it is so my
intention is to impart information to as many people as want to receive

it. I write the blog because I enjoy writing and I love the law and
all things related to it. So with that understanding, please visit my
blog.

I've posted some very interesting videos to my blog
http://steigerlaw.typepad.com/los_angeles_personal_inju/ . In
particular:

1. Cell Phones & Driving - Cartoon Video, Funny but Sadly True (just
click, watch and listen)

2. Motorcycle Crash: It Happens So Fast - Video (just click, watch
and listen)

3. McDonald's Coffee Case: The Truth. Read this and decide for
yourself as to "frivolous lawsuits." In reality, they do NOT exist

4. Link of the Day: Insurance Profits Soar in 2006

5. Find Your Way to Grandma's House video: (just click, watch and

listen)

LOL. Movies make up a heck of a lot more than that. That is why they
were highly regulated in the days before television. They literally
had the power to change public opinion. Do a web search on movie
physics to learn more about how Wilie Coyote couldn't do what he did,
and other less obvious movie fibs.

They'd still cost the govt less.

Yes, but what kills you eliminates the SS benefit for your old age etc.

Its different with something like diabetes that incurs dramatically
increased medical costs for the rest of their 'life'. With something
that kills you relatively quickly, those costs arent as great.

Why don't you just killfile them? Replying just means that those of us who
have killfiled the poster still see their posts because of your replies.
It'll just get you killfiled as well.
