Somehow I have changed Word so that when I try inserting the page number, it
now inserts a stored screenshot into the footer. How can I can get it to
insert the page numbers again?
Thx.

I have Office 2007, and am using Vista.
I want to have sequential endnotes, but ever so often the endnotes start
over again beginning with 1.
I have tried deleting the endnote when it starts at 1, but it still comes in
with a 1 shen it should be 89.
So in my endnote section, I start with serial numbers, and then periodically
the numbers start over again.
How do I troubleshoot this problem?
Thanks,

Is there any way to convert the circle of text seen at the URL below
to HTML so that I can make a blog post in that same size and shape of
circle?
I think the request may be for making the boundaries of an area of
regular text
be circular (like a circular text box). There have been several
questions like
that lately.
You can do it by placing appropriate AutoShapes on both sides of the
text and
setting their text wrapping to Tight. I've posted a document at
http://jay-freedman.info/triangle_text.doc that illustrates
making both
triangular and circular text areas.

I use Windows XP and Office 2007, although I save Word documents in a
compatible version (.doc).
I have a downloaded template that I use for transliterating Arabic into
English characters. The default font for the template is Gentium, and the
template has several shortcuts for making underdots and lines over letters.
Today something went wrong and its using a different font when I try to use
my key shortcuts -- I am now getting a font called Simsun. The letters
produced by my shortcuts are correct but the font is wrong. I don't know how
to get my old settings back. I have tried Ctrl-All and changing the default
font to Gentium, but this doesn't work -- I still get Simsun. I have tried
re-downloading my template, opening a blank document, and pasting my working
document in, but still I get Simsun when I use my shortcuts.
I think I remember accidentally pressing some combination of keys that gave
me some chinese characters before this started. So I also got rid of the
Chinese in my language bar via Regional Settings, then re-started my
computer, but that also didn't work.
I have been working on this document for months and this is the first
trouble I've had, but its crippling.

Is it possible to open a document on word 2007 directly from SkyDrive? I´d
like to work with documents located in Skydrive: when I save the doc, the
word will save it directly on Skydrive.
Is that possible?

Some of my text, particularly after graphics is marked as "do not check
spelling or grammar" or so the abc spell checker tells me so. How in the
world do I turn this off, or "unmark" that text???? Help please, I have a

Hello All
My OS = Windows XP Professional Media Center Ed, SP2
Question = MS Word 2007
What I am experiencing: I am trying to use the styles for lists. The
headings I'm using are 1, then 1.1, then 1.1.1, then sometimes 1.1.1.1 Okay,
now I've started creating my document, and it was going quite well for a
couple of pages. (Yippie!) But then the mean ol "gremlin" came out. Here's
what happened. When I hit the enter button at the end of a Heading 1.1.1
paragraph, the cursor ends the paragraph and goes to the next line. (This is
not the problem yet.) Now, I press the Heading 2 Style for 1.1 and I get my
next section of my document (in my current document it's 6.3). However, the
6.3 is surrounded by a box. So, I proceed to type the line for that section
6.3. It types out correctly...
