I have installed a new OS using the win xp sp2 disc on another
partition, having reformated that partition. No problem doing that. I have
a router/modem in one unit. Netgear DG834v3 as a home network (hardwire). On
this partition whilst I can see that I am connected to the net, the icon
tells me 16Mbs ,or so, the machine refuses to conect in ANY other way at all
to the outside world although I can see the other computers in the intranet
i.e. here at home. No firewalls are installed on that partition. You can see
that I am connected using this original partition. Could any one help?

I keepfinding two printers that I cant install as I dont know what they
can be. Have two printers in already. However at each boot up discovers two
new printers. So I have to cancel them each boot time. A bit annoying but not
overtaxing. I did try removing all the installed printers. Had no effect.

Have also twice done a windows repair using the xp-pr sp2 disc. No
improvement.

Has any on any ideas on how to remove these two discovered printers at each
boot up.

I found this video clip that I would like to make into my screen saver. How
would I do that?

I am trying to install an update KB949041 PowerPoint viewer security update.
Install keeps failing error code 0x4397 anyone know how I can fix this?

I receive E-mail attachments on my MS Home edition laptop which I can not
open. It pops up and states to close something and then goes back to the
E-mail folder. I assume it is comming from Word and I have works. Is there
anyway to recieve these without giving MS a couple hundred for Word.
