Pandora's Box has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows.
For an update that is compatible with this version, What do I do?

In attempting to install AOE III The War Chiefs, I am not able to
successfully complete installation. Here are the steps/outcomes:
1. Insert disk, click Install
2. Install Shield begins, checks OS, etc.
3. Message window appears: "Age of Empires III is not installed. This setup
will exit."
4. Click OK
5. AOE III InstallShield Wizard appears, "InstallShield Wizard Complete. The
wizard was interrupted before Age of Empires III - The WarChiefs could be
completely installed/uninstalled."
6. Click Finish

Nothing installed. In attempting to start a ticket with MS Support, my PID
is required. Cannot obtain PID unless program is installed. Arrrgh!

I checked my system requirements using dxdiag, and the system far exceeds
the requirements for the game in every category, as far as I can tell. Does
anyone know why this is happening? There is no information given, it just
fails.

my computer keeps saying i have a missing gameenum.sys when trying to
loaddriversfor the gameporton a newly installed sound card, the restof the
cardfunctions ok but this won`t can anyone help please?

This is a very strange problem. The game itself runs fine, and I have 2 save
files, but no matter which one i load, the game always auto-saves itself and
returns me to the very beginning scene right after the oakvale fire.
I have gotten up to passing the guild's final test, but only because i
didn't stop playing or try to load another game. My data is there, it just
won't let me get to it. I tried taking the autosaved files out of my saved
game folder, but that didn't do anything.
Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?? It's really annoying.

Installed and played for 1 day - next day game loads but on entering game it
freezes loading first scenario - any hints??

I posted my problem under that title yesterday and you gave me a list
of things to check and to fix the problem. I wanted to thank you very
much. I installed new drivers per your instructions and it fixed the
problem. All my games work, so any of you out there with that problem
use those instructions to fix your computer. Again I want to thank you

i downloaded runesword2 and every time i try to play i get a "run time error
6, overflow" how do i play my game

Well I have had major problems with bf 2,while trying to fix them I deleted
the d drive (80 gig sata 2 hard drive,partioned into c 10 gig,d 20 gig & e 40
gig) with disk management. bf 2142 was installed on this drive.

When I go to install it I can slelect languge it then perpares to install,
goes to next part & CTD before the next part starts.

Have tried safe mode,went into registry & deleted anything with 2142,updated
bios.
I have a second H/D a 200 gig sata 2 with no problems.
