old and new Windows Embedded?

Hi,

I am just getting started with learning everything I will need to know about
building and deploying a image for our platform. I know that a new version
of Windows Embedded is due out last quarter of 2008. I am concerned that
what I am learning about XPe may not be that applicable to the new version.
Just how much will they differ in the development and deployment?

They are the same thing - same tools, same development process. What you
learn with XPe will not be lost with the next release.
