Hi,

I am trying to map a drive to an XPe Image from a XP Pro machine, but i am
having no luck what so ever. the furthest i get is being asked for username
and password.
once i enter the details, the window just comes back asking for details again.

I have got the firewall turned off, firewall sharing component installed,
with the server service running.

If someone please could give me some advise.

hi Raggy,

1. What kind of XPe logon you image has, Winlogon or Minlogon?
Minlogon by default does not support network file sharing.
2. Do you have User with Password in your XPe system?
Default network file sharing need user with password(blank password is not
allowed).
3. Check File sharing component added to your image?
