How to boot from a new hardsisk

Hi all

I want to boot xp embedded from a new harddisk, and I got some problem

First, I install the new HD to my XP Pro PC,
and use windows disk manager to create a new parimary partition,
set it active, format it NTFS ( I think it's bootable, right? )

then, I move the xpe image to the new HD parimary parition to go fba
but, when booting, it shows " Disk boot failure, Insert system disk and
press enter"

why....? is there any step mistake or something I forgot to do ....?

thanks all!

Fon,

Is your development system and the XPe system both same? if so did you
modifiy boot.ini file to point to right disk?

Best place, to look for what went wrong, is to look at the file fbalog.txt
file in windows\fba drictory.
