dual flash cards code 42

I have a hardware setup with 2 512 flash cards. With some pairs of wintec flash cards It will not recognize the D drive. Bios sees the D drive but windows does not. IN the device manager for the C drive I see this: Code 42 Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because there is a duplicate device already...
