Different PID for each purchase of runtime licence

due to the recent purchase of XPe runtime licence(COA), i have found that the
PID for this time is different. The problem is, our company have made some
backup images for some of the device after FBA. If the PID is different, is
that means we have to generate a new image with the new PID and made all the
work of customizing to specific hardware again for each time we buy a new
batch of runtime licence from microsoft again ? Thanks a lot if anyone may
know the answer.

No. You can continue to use the old PID, and you don't have to re-build the
image. If you want a more legal answer, your distributor can confirm.

Yes, Sean is right!
(Answer as a authorized distributor)
:-))
You had to sign a OEM agreement to microsoft (CLA)
first so you have an OEM status. You can use the same PID
as your OEM PID for lifetime.
