Hi, thanks for all the replies so far.
I think that Norton/Symantec rep told me the 'official' line on
support for NA in XPe. If you guys have it up and running in XPe then
that proves that the thing works.
The main problem will be in what manual intervention will be needed to
update the anti virus definitions. It sounds like the FBWF alterations
to get the virus definitions updates to work will be a sticking point.
My customer will listen to me when I say that NA will work on XPe, but
if it is not officially supported by Smantec then they will probably
take the view that it isn't something that they should be doing.
I am probably going to have a had time getting my customer to agree to
this. Believe it or not, they are more likely to agree to having no
Anti Virus protection than having an un-supported AV product.

Thanks for the inputs guys - much appreciated.
