AMD PROCESSOR CHANGE

I have two test machines, the first have AMD Athlon 64 processor the other
AMD X2 dual processor.
I made my image with ACPI multiprocessor component. In the first cpu my
touchscreen.exe works fine when i change the same hard drive to the other
cpu and i can't open my .exe, why? it's says that it cannot start the .exe
file. But it doesn't show me why. Check in the hardware all appears that
it's working well (drivers, hardware everything). I go back to the first CPU
and the .exe works again

Any ideas???

My development machine had a AMD X2 dual processor.

Thanks

IVAN

I probably don't know enough to give a good answer but since there is no
other reply ...

I've built images for both single and dual core CPUs (Pentium, Xeon in my
case) and I have not had similar problems. I have verified that my CPU load
is distributed across both cores when I use dual core. However I always
build and FBA separate images that are specific to each device. If it were
me, I wouldn't try to use the same image on both devices as I think you say
you have done.

P.S. Seems to me that a number of experts would have given very informed
responses to this post a couple of years ago. It does unfortunately seem
like enthusiasm has declined in this NG.
