Setting up a shared database ("index specified does not reference an existing item in the collection" errors)

Author: Boby George

I am trying to setup a shared database for development. I created a basic
configuratin and try to build it. Dependency check was successful, but
during build I started getting lot of "
"The index specified does not reference an existing item in the collection"
errors. I am using XPe SP2 FP 2007 Update 1.0. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Boby

Device Manager - deactivated device lasts one session only

Author: Stefan Klein

When i deactivate my 'floppy device' in device manager everything looks
right (the device is indeed deactivated) but when i reboot XPe the
device is back. The device manager doesn't show a red cross but if i
select the device the 'enable' button appears (instead of disable) as if
it would be disabled indeed. Once the button is clicked it changes to
correct state (disable - for enabled devices).

Anyone know what's wrong?
There's no EWF or similar installed.

Hi All,
I am new to XP embedded. I wanted to know to which component does
the registry entry "ListviewShadow" under
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
belong.
I wanted to change the setting for this entry, but don't know to which
component this registry entry belongs.

Thank you,
AJ
