Okay, after reading some post today, I've read that re-activation is
necessary after hardware changes. I'm very tech savvy, but this activation
issue is getting too confusing for us legitimate users. I just upgraded my
laptop from XP Home to Vista Home Premium via upgrade dvd and only activated
once. I've even updated my printer and wireless trackball drivers and no
request to reactivate. Now I plan on installing more RAM, because Vista is
very resource hungry, wondering will I have to re-activate afterwards.
It appears that Microsoft didn't quite outline the new activation process,
or maybe I missed it, but can it be believed that only major hardware changes
will affect activation or does that 120-day re-activation requirement really
exist. I just paid a bundle for this software and will only install it on my
laptop, with no intentions on ever upgrading my desktop, so why should I have
to re-activate Windows. This is the one issue I can't seem to get a straight
answer on, or even find anything in other site to explain.

Hello all,
I have problems to join my XPE computer to domain. I have Net logon/Net join
component added into the XPE image, but when I trying to join domain, I get
mesage, that domain controller, although it is accessible through ping to
both FQDN and IP address.
Dcdiag.txt says the following:
----
DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record
used to locate a domain controller for domain hasam.cz:
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.hasam.cz
The following domain controllers were identified by the query:
data.hasam.cz
main.hasam.cz

Has anyone made available a user friendly GIU interface to the FBWF?
If not, is there any interest in such a beast?

I'm using RAM EWF SP2 - I used to deply image using an ElTorito CD i created.
Now our computer vendor has ghosted the image and deploys our image from a
ghost. The problem is that now, when I attempt to do an install, I run out of
resources as if memory used for EWF is full. I did add more memory to the
chassis but i beleive that should not be an issue. Any ideas?

If I want my final image (in this case an El Torito disk) to reside at a
specific drive letter (like WinPE, which defaults to X:) is it as simple as
setting that drive letter in my SLX settings? Or is there other stuff I
need to do?
I tried the first (just setting the boot drive to w:) in TD and FBA quit.
The second boot produced a SYSTEM_LICENSE_VIOLATION BSOD.
Any way to get around this?
Thanks.

My SQL db corrupted for some reason. I reinstalled it and now none of the
tools will connect. I get the message that SQL is connected and I need and
"exclusive" connection. I have done all I know. The icon and tool only
allows so much configuration. The computer name is the same as that in
Device Manager/System.
Help as I am nearing the end of wrapping up my project.

Hello.
I need to share a folder on the Network and access it from all
machines without having to login.
I tried to use Windows Share, added Everyone & Anonymous to Sharing
and so i did for Security.
However, each time i go \\X.Y.Z.W\ it will prompt me for a user name
and passowrd to login.
Creating a Generic Login is not the solution i'm looking for.
would appreciate your help on that matter.
Regards,
